There's a particular feeling that comes with finishing an image and knowing before you ever share it that it's exactly what you set out to make. "Arc of Form" was that image for me.
So when the Exposure One Awards announced their 2026 One Shot Photo Contest results, I was genuinely moved to see it recognized. This year's competition drew entries from 82 countries, judged by a panel representing Vogue, Leica Gallery LA, SFMoMA, Aperture, and the Art Gallery of Alberta. "Arc of Form" received an Honorable Mention in the Nude category, placing it among a select group of officially recognized works from one of the most competitive fields in the contest's history.
It was also my first time entering.
For those unfamiliar with how these competitions work, an Honorable Mention sits outside the Gold, Silver, and Bronze tier but represents something meaningful: your image was seen by the jury, it stood apart from a very large field, and it was formally recognized for its quality and impact. That's not nothing. That's actually quite a lot.

What the image is
"Arc of Form" is a black and white nude; not in the way that word typically lands, but in the classical sense. The human body treated as sculpture. Shadow and light doing the storytelling. No face. No identity. Just the quiet architecture of the figure folded into itself, the curve of the spine tracing something that feels almost geometric.
This is the kind of image that lives at the intersection of boudoir and fine art photography and honestly, it's the space I find most interesting to work in. The women who sit for sessions with Victoria and me aren't just getting photographs. They're getting something that belongs in that conversation.
Why this matters to our clients
I don't share recognition like this to talk about myself. I share it because it speaks directly to what you can expect when you book a session with us.
The same eye that produced a work selected by jurors from Vogue and SFMoMA is the one behind the camera when you walk through our door. The same care about light, form, and storytelling that went into "Arc of Form" goes into every frame we make together.
